Robertshaw Trophy 2016

Blythe Bridge Camera Club hosted this year's competition for the Robertshaw Trophy which was judged by Peter W Cheetham, APAGB. Fourteen of our members travelled to Blythe Bridge to witness the disappointing outcome for Leek PC coming in last place - soundly beaten by the other four clubs. The winners were Blythe Bridge with a very creditable 186 points, followed by Crewe with 180, Macclesfield with 175, Holmes Chapel with 167 and Leek with 158.

The top scoring image of the evening was one by a Crewe member - Cheetahs Looking for Prey - which scored 20. Blythe Bridge had 5 images held for the final round scoring a 16, 17 and three 18s. None of our images were held back, John Coe attaining our highest mark of 16 with Chin Strap Battis.

Must try harder!
