Photographic Bio

I joined the club around 13 years ago and prior to that I had never picked up a camera. I was then fascinated to learn from the judges what makes a good picture in their eyes. For a number of years I have organised the club raffles and, until recently, maintained the club archive.

Leek PC is a friendly club and there's always someone on hand to offer helpful advice.

Camera equipment

I currently use a Panasonic Lumix GH5 micro 4/3rds camera and 100-400mm lens.

Preferred subjects

I enjoy taking natural history and macro images best. The intricacies of landscapes still elude me, mainly because I find it difficult to get up early enough to catch the mist
